Sharon L. Adams,
school librarian

Sharon L. Adams, 50, of Palmer Township, died Monday, Dec. 21, in her home.

She retired in June as a high school librarian from the Nazareth Area School District. She had been employed by the district since 1969, beginning her career as an English teacher.

Born Jan. 23, 1948, in Easton, she was a daughter of W. Kenneth Jr. and Elizabeth Fogel Stout of West Easton.

She was a graduate of Kutztown University.

She and her husband, James H., celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary in June.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her paternal grandfather, W.K. Stout Sr. of Ormond Beach, Fla.

A brother, Kenneth W., died earlier.

Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.

The Strunk Funeral Home, 2101 Northampton St., Wilson Borough, is in charge of the arrangements.

The family requests memorials to the library of your choice.
