James L. Snyder, Jr., 65, of Wilson Borough, passed away Monday, January 14, 2013 in Easton Hospital.

Born: June 10, 1947 in Wilson Borough, PA, he was a son of the late James L. Sr. and Betty P. Jacoby Snyder.

Personal: He and his wife, the former Margaret Schrenk, celebrated their 30th weddng anniversary on June 26, 2012.

James retired in 2002 from Binney & Smith, where he was employed for 32 years.

 He was a 1965 graduate of Wilson High School and served with the Navy during the Vietnam War.

James enjoyed camping, making model trains and doing jigsaw puzzles. Years ago, he was active with the Cub Scouts Pack 13.

Memberships: He was a member of the 25 year club at Binney & Smith. He was an Eagle Scout and member of the Order of the Arrow.

Survivors: In addition to his wife Margaret, he is survived by three sons, James A. Snyder and his wife Rachel, of Forks Township, Timothy M. Snyder and his wife Cathy of Allentown, and Paul W. Lucykanish, at home; a daughter, Georgean Brinkley and her husband Timothy, of Wilson Borough; a sister, Doris Snyder, of Bath; a sister-in-law, Maryann Snyder, of Bethlehem; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and three nieces.

He was predeceased by a son, James W. Lucykanish, and a brother, John Snyder.

Services: A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday in Forks United Church of Christ, 4500 Sullivan Trail, Stockertown. Call Thursday 5:30 to 6 p.m. in the church.
