Earl C. Richards

Earl C. Richards, 70, of Easton, PA, formerly of Kunkletown, PA, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 1, 2018, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenburg, Bethlehem, PA. Born in Easton, Earl was a son of the late Rollo W. Richards Sr. and the late Pearl Margaret (Macaluso) Richards. He was a graduate of Wilson High School. Earl worked for Alstom for many years until his retirement. He was a member of St. Jane Frances Catholic Church, Palmer Twp., PA. He was a avid Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs fan and was a season ticket holder. He loved the outdoors and was an avid animal lover. Earl is survived by two brothers, Rollo W. Richards Jr. of Pottstown, PA; David A. Richards and his wife, Theresa of Easton, and a sister, Natalie P. Hoff of Easton. He is also survived by two nieces, Kathleen Clark and her daughter, Kelsey, of Palmer Twp.; Kimberly, wife of R. Edward Schumacher Jr. and their son, Tyler, of Pottstown, PA; two nephews, Christopher Richards and his wife, Laura, of Saylorsburg, PA, and Matthew Richards of Easton. He was predeceased by his twin brother, Russell R. Richards, and niece, Joan Marie Gonzalez. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 7, at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Ave., Palmer Twp. Burial will be at Hays Cemetery, Easton. There will be a viewing on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.
