WARREN E. PITTENGER

Warren E. Pittenger, 32, of 1041 W. Wilkes-Barre St., Easton, died last night in Allentown and Sacred Heart Hospital Center, where he was admitted earlier in the day.

He worked for Schwerman Trucking Co., Nazareth, until disability forced him to quit working five years-ago.

Born in Easton, on Feb. 9, 1947, he was a son of the late William E. and Betty Mabus Pittenger.

He was a member of The Order of the Fleas, Easton and the Citizens Group of Wilkes-Barre Street. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, and did volunteer work with Meals on Wheels and C.O.R.C.O.

Surviving are his wife, the former Jean Osborn; four daughters, Connie, Tammy, Laura and Samantha, all at home; three brothers, Ray, Lloyd and Donald Pittenger, all of Easton; a sister, Mrs. Thelma Dudding, Easton; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Pittenger, Nazareth, and maternal step-grandmother, Mrs. Florence Mabus, Nazareth.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Strunk Funeral Home, Easton. Interment will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
