Edward A. Parks

Edward Allen Parks, 43, formerly of Easton, died Tuesday in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

He was employed by Corning Inc. as project manager of the Brazil Expansion, and recently as technical manager for Corning in Brazil. He was employed by the company since 1976, the last three years in Sao Paulo.

Born July 4, 1947, in Amesbury, Mass., he was a son of Marjorie Gray Parks of Easton, and the late Howard Parks.

He was a graduate of Wilson Area High School and Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

He served six years in the Army.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Ann L. Parks; a daughter, Stephanie of Horseheads, N.Y.; a sister, Gail of St. Augustine, Fla.; and a brother, William of Bethlehem, N.H.

Memorial services will be announced.

Memorial services for Edward A. Parks, 43, formerly of Easton, who died Nov. 13 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday in Olivet Presbyterian Church in Easton.

The Ashton Funeral Home in Easton is in charge of arrangements.
