Fred H. Norton, 72, of Kline Township, PA, formerly of Easton, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2020, in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest.
Born November 2, 1947, in Easton, PA, he was a son of the late Frederick M. Norton and Henrietta A. (Kropf) Brown.

He and his wife, Deborah (Buss) Norton, celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary on June 11, 2019.

Fred graduated from Wilson High School Class of 1965 and attended ITT Technical Institute and Northampton Community College.
He served with the US Army as a nuclear weapons maintenance specialist during the Vietnam War.

Fred retired as a mechanical draftsman from Eastern Engineering where he worked for over 10 years. Previously, he worked for United Technical Associates and Armitage, Allentown.

He liked working with his hands, remodeling his home. Fred enjoyed nature, traveling, fishing, music, bowling, and watching comedy from The Honeymooners to Big Bang Theory.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a sister, Verna J. Fritchman, of Bath; a sister-in-law Constance M. Galdun and her husband William, of Reading; many nieces and nephews, and his dog, Angel.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 2101 Northampton Street, Wilson Borough. Call Tuesday 1-2 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine. Offer online condolences at www.strunkfh.com
