Gloria Anne Kandrat, 38, of Sandy Shores, LakeVille, Pa., died Monday in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital after a long illness.

A licensed real estate broker, she owned Spectra North Real Estate Co., Hawley, Pa.

Born in Shamokin, Pa., she was a daughter of Elmer and Bernice Robinson Morgan of Lakeville. She lived in Allentown and Easton before moving before moving to Lakeville 12 years ago.

A graduate of Wilson Area High School, she attended East Stroudsburg State College, Brandywine College and Pennsylvania State University Extension at Scranton.

Mrs. Kandrat was a member of Olivet Presbyterain (sic) Church, Easton, and Order of Eastern Star, Washington-Irving Chapter 209, Honesdale.

A past president of the Pike-Wayne Board of Realtors, she was a member of its board of directors. In 1980 she received an award from the Realtors Policy Action Committee, and in 1983 was named Realtor of the Year.

Surviving in addition to her parents are her husband, David Kandrat; three sisters, Mrs. Lavonne McGary, Painesville, Ohio, Mrs. Jean Cupani, Church Hill, Md., and Mrs. Robin Krom, Tafton, Pa.; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Karl Robinson, South Canaan, Pa., and several nieces and nephews.

Services will he held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Teeters East Chapel, Church Street, Hawley. Interment will be in East Canaan Cemetery, South Canaan, Pa.
