Lorraine A. Bubba, 54, of Bethlehem Township, Pa., died Tuesday, April 9, at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia.

She was a dental hygiene instructor at Northampton Community College for 15 years. Before that, she was a dental assistant for Dr. Roger Boger in Wilson Borough for 15 years.

Born Jan. 3, 1948, in Easton, she was a daughter of Ida J. Krantz Hay of Wilson Borough and the late Paul K. Hay.

She was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church in Palmer Township, where she sang in the choir and was involved with the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults program.

She was a 1965 graduate of Wilson Area High School.

She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority and a former member and past president of Wilson Elementary School Parent Teacher Association.

She and her husband, Thomas A., celebrated their 31st wedding anniversary Nov. 21.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by two daughters, Nicole K. Isaac of Bethlehem and Adrienne L. Tarola of Philadelphia.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday in the church, 4049 Hartley Ave., Palmer Township. Call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Strunk Funeral Home, 2101 Northampton St., Wilson Borough, and from 9 a.m. Saturday to time of services in the church.

Burial will be in the Northampton Memorial Shrine in Palmer Township.
